Amos
joined Walden International in 2001. Prior to joining WI, he was Vice
President and General Manager of the Content and Supplier Group of
Commerce One. He attained this position after selling Mergent Systems,
a business-to-business e-commerce infrastructure start-up, where he
was co-founder, CEO and Chairman to Commerce One. Earlier in his professional
life he was General Manager of C*ATS Software, a leader in financial
risk management software, and Worldwide Director of Industry Marketing
at Informix, an enterprise software manufacturer. Amos holds a B.S.
in Engineering from Technion in Israel and a Ph.D. and an M.B.A. from
the University of Pittsburgh.

Julien
Nguyen is a serial entrepreneur who founded and led four successful
enterprises from inception to market leadership. Prior to founding
Applied Materials Ventures in May 2001, Julien Nguyen was a Venture
Partner at Global Catalyst Partners focusing on investments in communications
infrastructure.
Julien
earned a Master of Science degree from Ecole Polytechnique in France
(X77) and a Post Graduate degree from Telecom Paris. Mr. Nguyen
holds nine patents granted in the US.

Bruce Crocker, General Partner of Pitango

Prior
to Pitango, Mr. Crocker co-founded Eucalyptus Ventures and since that
time has served as Managing Director of the fund. Prior to founding
Eucalyptus, he served as a managing director in technology investment
banking at Hambrecht & Quist. Mr. Crocker led the development
of H&Q's initial underwriting practice in Israel, and sponsored
six H&Q venture investments. Mr. Crocker previously served as
President and CEO of Exploration Systems, a start-up application software
company targeting the oil and gas exploration markets, and of EG&G
Geometrics, a manufacturer of geophysical instruments and a supplier
of airborne geophysical survey services.
Mr. Crocker holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from
MIT, and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Charlton received his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1995
and a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Texas, Austin in 1994.
Billy previously earned an MBA in Finance from St. Mary's University
(San Antonio, Texas) and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas
A&M University. He worked for Hewlett-Packard for five years as
a field engineer, where he was the district systems and network specialist.
Billy is a finance professor in the E.C. Robins School of Business
at the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia. His academic
work focuses on the investment constraints faced by financial institutions.

Perry was the Founder and Executive Director of California Israel
Angels (CIA), an Israeli-focused group of angel investors in the Silicon
Valley. He was a partner with Helix Capital, LLC, a mergers and acquisitions
firm in San Francisco. Mr. Perry was an Investment Manager with Intel
Capital and an Engagement Manager with McKinsey and Co. in Brussels

is a veteran of multiple start-ups with experience in broadband telecommunications,
software, semiconductor, optical networking and Internet-related businesses.
Formerly an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at August Capital, Naval conceived
of, co-founded, and was CEO of Epinions, Inc. (now Shopping.com).
Prior to that, Naval was a co-founder of Genoa corporation, a Fremont-based
manufacturer of semiconductor optical
components. Prior to co-founding Genoa, Naval worked in the strategic
planning group at @Home Network. He has also served as a consultant
in the high-tech practice area of the Boston Consulting Group. Naval's
investments at August Capital include Scintera Networks, Microdisplay
Corporation, Instant802 Networks, and Technorati, Inc. |
