Outlines:Wireless
sensor networks have moved out of the research lab and into production,
enabling a wide range of application-focused startups to emerge.
An IEEE standard, an industrial consortium, and a few hundred million
in venture funding have built a foundation of technology on which
applications can be rapidly developed. This talk will include a
brief history of the technology, a discussion of currently available
products and their capabilities, and near-term applications suitable
for startups. |
