The Process

ONE PAGE OVERVIEW
In order to be considered for participation in Silicom Ventures events, companies must submit a one page overview and register. Please CLICK HERE to download the form and email to:

REGISTRATION
There is a flat fee of $1000 for event participation (no finder’s fee). To register for one of our upcoming events, please click on the registration button at the bottom of the page. You will not be charged for registration until you have been selected to participate.

POSTER SESSION
After passing initial screening, about 10 companies are invited to participate in a Silicom Ventures Poster Session, which takes place at one of the upcoming monthly investment meetings. During the poster session, companies display products, demos and marketing materials in mini-booths to potential investors.

PRESENTATION
Two to three companies will be selected out of the poster session to give a five-minute presentation followed by a five-minute Q & A session at the monthly investment meetings. At the cocktail parties these presentations will be substituted by two-minute elevator pitches.

ELEVATOR PITCH
Aside from the presenting companies, a few additional companies will be chosen to give a two-minute “elevator pitch” with no slides.

INVESTMENT DECISIONS
The Silicom Ventures members meet privately at the end of each monthly meeting to discuss potential investments and decide how to proceed. This process takes an average of one to two weeks to complete.
