Marv Bush, Founder, President & CEO, Atria Controls, Inc. Marvin (Marv) E. Bush is the Founder, President & CEO of Atria Controls. Atria is developing new era electric powertrain platforms that enable light and heavy duty trucks and buses with up to 100 miles of pure electric range. Atria’s EV and Range Extended EV platform is a new ground-up design of systems electronics, software, hi-power electronics, and the 1st Large Scale Integrated Energy Storage System. Atria addresses the key challenges industry and manufacturers face today: cost, fuel consumption, emissions, range and robust power. Atria is headquartered in Los Altos, CA., and has offices in Shanghai, PRC and Taipei TW. Prior to Atria, Marv was the Founding Partner at Ovo Technology Partners, a private investment and strategic advisory group focused on Semiconductor, Networking, IT and Clean Technologies. Marv has over 20 years of semiconductor, and enterprise software experience. Prior to Ovo, Marv was the President & CEO of two semiconductor related companies, Translogic Technology, and Coyote Systems and was formerly the VP of International Sales, at Cadence Design Systems. Marv has participated in the launch of two successful companies that were acquired by Cadence - Tangent Systems & Cooper and Chyan Technology - which also had a successful IPO. He was also in investor in PiE Design, started their operations in Europe and enjoyed a successful merger with Quickturn and its subsequent IPO. Marv has extensive IP, technology, and international business experience. He started his career in software development and product marketing at Digital Equipment Corp. Marv holds a B.A from University of California at Santa Barbara and has graduate work in MBA and Computer Science at CSU Northridge. |

Mark Gresser, President & CEO, Member of the Board, Wildcat Discovery Technologies Mark Gresser is the President and CEO of Wildcat Discovery Technologies. Wildcat is a privately held company located in San Diego, CA, engaged in the discovery and sale of specialty materials for clean tech energy applications. Utilizing combinatorial chemistry pioneered in the life sciences field, Wildcat has developed proprietary high throughput synthesis and testing platforms for the rapid exploration of new energy related materials, especially lithium-ion battery electrodes and electrolytes. With multiple patents filed, the company's unique technology enables breakthrough discovery of novel materials that can be rapidly scaled from grams to kilograms. Before joining Wildcat Discovery in 2008, Mark was EVP and Company Officer at publicly held Material Sciences Corporation, based in Elk Grove Village Il. At MSC, Mark oversaw the global expansion of the entire company, including the growth of highly engineered acoustic and coated products into automotive, appliance, building products, and consumer electronics. Prior to MSC, Mark held various positions with Honeywell, AlliedSignal, ExxonMobil, and Ford Motor Company, resulting in over twenty-three years experience in general management, materials development, sales, marketing, manufacturing, and engineering. Mark Platshon, Partner, VantagePoint Venture Partners Mark joined VantagePoint after serving as a Venture Partner at Trident Capital and at XSeed Capital. Mark has over 20 years of experience as CEO of several Silicon Valley companies including Idetek, an environmental and food diagnostics company, ELO, the pioneer and leader in touchscreens, Zing, an online photography company, and most recently, Capnia, a specialty pharmaceutical company. Mark earned a B.S.E. in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan, did graduate work in Nuclear Engineering at the Westinghouse Naval Reactor School and received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. As a Navy lieutenant, Mark had a joint Navy and Department of Energy appointment to the staff of Admiral Hyman G. Rickover. |

Atiq Raza, Partner, Khosla Ventures Raza, with over 30 years of experience in the electronics industry, is a highly respected veteran with broad industry expertise in both engineering and management. Prior to founding Raza Microelectronics, he was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), as well as serving on its board of directors. At AMD, Raza was responsible for laying the foundation of AMD's processor roadmap and brought the AMD-K6® and Athlon's family of processor products to the market. Raza became part of AMD's management team after the merger with NexGen, Inc. in January 1996. At NexGen, he was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Before joining NexGen, Raza held various engineering and management positions within VLSI Technology Incorporated, most notably Vice President of Technology Centers. Raza also serves on the board of directors of Matrix Semiconductors, Zeevo, AMI Semiconductor and TRG. Raza earned his bachelor's degree with honors from the University of London and a master's degree from Stanford University. |

Nick Sugimoto, Principal, Honda Strategic Venturing Nick Sugimoto is a Principal of Honda Strategic Venturing (HSV), the corporate venture capital arm of Honda Motor Corporation based in Mountain View, California. HSV seeks investment opportunities in technology venture companies to establish the strategic foundation for collaborative partnership both to excel Honda‘s innovative R&D and to help technology venture companies succeed in automotive-related market. Nick oversees a broad spectrum of technologies including alternative energy, advance materials, information technologies and wireless communication. Previously, Nick consulted Japanese angel investors in identifying venture investment opportunities and managing portfolios in the US. Nick also has successful entrepreneurial experience in technology start-ups in the US and Japan. He also worked as the new business development manager in Recruit Co., Japan‘s largest publisher/information service provider. Nick received his engineering degree from University of Tokyo in 1984 and MBA from Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley in 1996. |
