Silicom Ventures
cordially invite its members to a Seminar focusing on silicon processing
given by Dr. Israel Beinglass.
The electronic
revolution that has been shaping our lives in the last few decades can
be directly attributed to the dramatic cost reduction of the basic processing
structures, i.e. transistors. This in turn is the result of better manufacturing
and improved processes. In this presentation, Dr. Israel Beinglass will
discuss the underlining technologies which drive the latest trends and
will give us a glimpse into the opportunities and limitations that the
industry faces.
When:
April 26th, 7PM
Where: Silicom's
Main office
Who: Silicom Ventures members only, limited space,
based on availability. Reservations only — by April 24th, 2005 to
[email protected].

Beinglass is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) responsible for strategic
marketing of the Thin Films Group at Applied Materials. Before that
he held different positions at Applied Materials as the CTO of several
organizations, general manager of the High Temperature Films and director
of Process Sequence integration. He introduced to the market the first
Single Wafer Polysilicon deposition tool. He also developed the Polycide
system. Part of Israel’s role is to search new opportunities
that align with Applied Materials strategy. As a result of his activity
Applied Materials purchased several companies while in others equity
investments were made. Before
joining Applied Materials Israel was the Engineering Manager of the
Wafer Fab Operation at IMP (San Jose, CA.), prior to that he was a
Sr. Process Engineer at Intel Corp. (Santa Clara, CA.) where he was
the co-inventor of the Selective Tungsten deposition. Israel Beinglass
holds a PhD in Materials Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Israel has over 40 publications and 26 patents. |
